Coquito Season is here!
Jay’s Latin Kitchen is proud to share our authentic Puerto Rican Coquito, made fresh in-house using Jayleen’s abuela’s original recipe. Rich, creamy, coconut-based, and spiced just right — it’s a holiday favorite in Puerto Rican culture and now available to order locally in Maryland or shipped nationwide!
🍶 What is Coquito?
Coquito (Spanish for “little coconut”) is Puerto Rico’s beloved holiday drink — rich, creamy, coconut-based, and flavored with cinnamon and vanilla for that signature holiday warmth. It’s often compared to eggnog, but better (if you ask us!).
Our version? It’s based on Jayleen’s abuela’s original recipe, passed down through generations and made with high-quality ingredients right here in our restaurant.
Our version is non-alcoholic when sold, and each Coquito Kit includes everything you need—just add the included 375ml bottle of rum, give it a shake, and you're ready to sip.
🎄 Why Ours Is Special
Jay’s abuela used to make Coquito every December and deliver bottles to friends and family. Today, we carry on that tradition by making it fresh in-house, in small batches, with the same love and flavor she taught us.
It’s now a holiday staple at Jay’s Latin Kitchen, and something our guests look forward to every year. We make it from scratch, in our Latin kitchen, and offer it all the way through New Year’s.
